I asked myself, “How did I get where I am now?” It all started like all little girls; with my Breyer horses. I would play with them for hours, bring them to school and play with them out in the dirt, away from the asphalt and jungle gym.  I took lessons, joined 4-H, did Gymkhana as a kid, took out trail rides for Pachaco Ranch and Sunset Corral, located in Novato, California. I got bucked off, run off on, stepped on, and nipped more times then I want to remember. I worked for Nacacio Valley Arabians and Vine Hill Racing Stables. I went from Western to English to cross country, and back again to cutting.  Then I fell in love with the Peruvian Paso, I showed and bred them for a while and then I met Brent in Kentucky. He introduced me to the Kentucky Mountain horse, and finally the complete horse. Well that’s my thought and I hope you think this too.

If you want a horse that is athletic, has substantial bone, a good square 4-beat gait, pretty, a nice head, and super friendly then the KMSH is for you.

All of our horses are hand picked from private sellers. NO AUCTION OR MARKET HORSES.

Brent has been riding, training and active with the KMSH for sometime now. He and I are trying to bring out some very nice trail horses. We are diligent in our effort to bring out quality horses here to California.

We would love to see this breed flourish here in the west. You, the people who purchase these horses, will be some of the first to have this fun breed, and we the O.G.G will grow with you. We are planning camp outs, a booth at the expo in Sacramento, clinics with vets and Brent, and other talented people in this industry.  To us, our horses will be our business card, and our business is only as good as our horses.

The main ranch for the O.G.G horses is 1400 Crane Canyon Rd. in Santa Rosa, California. It is a 4 acre ranch, and easy-to-find; right off the 101 freeway.  We have twenty box stalls, a 90x120 sand arena and full gaiting track out back. We believe in all forms of natural horsemanship, and we shoe flat shod only. We believe in kind, humane treatment of all our horses. Most of our horses will be trail broke around 4yrs to 11yrs, from around 14.2 to 15.3 hands and 99% of them will be geldings. If you have something special in mind just call and I’ll try my hardest to locate the horse of your dreams.

If you have any questions about the Kentucky Mountain Saddle horse please don’t hesitate to ring me up, I’d love to show them and just like our slogan says, “COME AND RIDE, YOU DECIDE, WHICH IS THE SMOOTHEST?”

Tennessee Walking Horses, Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horses, SSH, KMSSH and Peruvian Pasos...

Come and ride, you descide which is the smoothest!
